15 October 2019

Francophone Africa Business Forum

After a very successful edition last year, the Francophone Africa Business Forum (FAB Forum) will be back with another exciting programme on October 15th! The FAB Forum is the perfect opportunity to meet close to 200 business men and women (as well as public sector representatives) from Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso, Côte D’Ivoire, The Democratic Republic of Congo and other Francophone countries, all in a single day!

The Francophone African region, which is often overlooked in the Netherlands, offers myriad business opportunities for companies that are interested in discovering new and emerging markets. Experts will share their insights on agritechnology solutions during the plenary programme and the workshops, with plenty of networking moments in between.

Innovative and Inclusive Agritechnology

In 2050, the world will be inhabited by 9 billion people. Natural resources will have become very scarce. The challenges posed by the global food chain will continue to push the agro & food sector to adopt technological innovations.

This year the FAB Forum focuses on innovative and inclusive technology solutions relevant to the agrifood sector in Francophone Africa today! Topics include mobile app solutions, geodata, and innovative production techniques. Participating private and public sector actors will discuss the most pressing issues faced by the region today, and debate about solutions.
